Cara’s passion for leadership and for the careers of her staff and Brock’s students is the reason she loves what she does. She feels privileged to lead a team of outstanding professionals who help students navigate their journeys, learn about their skills and gain experience in their fields of study.
Cara’s entrepreneurial spirit coupled with her experience in both post-secondary and corporate makes for a unique approach to innovation and putting ideas to action within her department of Co-op, Career & Experiential Education at Brock. Cara’s leadership in the experiential and career space has brought her to her current role as President of Co-operative Education and Work-Integrated Learning (CEWIL) Canada. She is also active in her local community and a very busy mom of two. Her passion of other’s passions, leadership and ideas that will change the way post-secondary responds to the needs of today’s workforce, drives her in her work every day.
